Skeleflex is the very first clip of international animation produced by Shine Interactive. Produced in association with Keith Lindsay from Tartan Sound and Video, Just Fun Toys commissioned the clip with instruction from Wild Planet, San Francisco.

The 10 second snipped of character animation for Skeleflex demonstrates in a quick, effective yet fun way how the toy works and how easy it is to build and reassemble the toy in a creative way. The advert is currently fighting in several countries, including America, South America and Singapore. It will soon flight on South African television as well.

The 10 second clip contains 3 complex rigs built in Maya, each for the two creatures, and then the 3rd for the combined creature. The rig contains specially crafted animation sub–rigs allowing bones to easily and effectively transits from rig to rig, giving incredible control while still maintaining the unique movement of each rig independently from one another. Using this method each rig could be individually animated and then combined to delver a performance while the bones assemble and break apart again.

Shine Interactive is extremely proud in producing the clip. It sets the standard for future projects and without a shadow of a doubt proves that the company is geared towards the future producing even more impressive character animation into the near future.
